Medical Scholarships
The Jess Parrish Medical Foundation (JPMF) offers medical scholarships
to graduating high school seniors who reside within the Parrish Medical
Center (PMC) service area, which extends from State Road 528 north to
the Brevard/Volusia county line. Students in need of financial assistance
with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale that are seeking
a career in a medical or healthcare field directly related to human health
are eligible to apply. This opportunity supports students with a strong
academic record and a clear commitment to entering the healthcare profession.
Undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in the human health or
medical field are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Those who have
previously received the JPMF scholarship may reapply, provided they continue
to study in a medical or healthcare-related field and have maintained
a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Graduate students are not eligible
for this scholarship.
Applicants who intend to return to North Brevard County to pursue their
careers after graduation are given strong consideration.
Application submission deadline will be announced in December 2025 for
scholarships to be awarded in 2026.
