TITUSVILLE, FLA. (November 4, 2025)—Parrish Healthcare and YMCA of Central Florida announce a partnership to expand access to preventative health services, rehabilitation and fitness services. Leveraging the YMCA of Central Florida’s community-based expertise, Parrish will reopen Parrish Health and Fitness Center, located at 2200 Cheney Highway, in early 2026.
Under this model, the YMCA will manage daily operations of the services, providing fitness and wellness programming, while Parrish Healthcare maintains an active integrated clinic presence to support services like physical therapy, outpatient lab and more.
“This collaboration enables a continuum of care that bridges clinical services with community-based wellness programs, strengthening both Parrish Healthcare’s and the YMCA’s preventative health strategies,” said Parrish Healthcare President/CEO George Mikitarian.
The Parrish Health and Wellness Center at the Target Crossroads Shopping Plaza will discontinue operations effective December 7, 2025. All current members of Parrish Health and Wellness Center can transition their membership to the YMCA and will have access to Parrish Health and Fitness Center as well as all YMCA of Central Florida’s Family Centers, providing expanded opportunities for exercise and wellness across the region.
When reopened, Parrish Health and Fitness Center, operated by the YMCA of Central Florida, will offer a wide variety of fitness and wellness opportunities for the community including modern workout equipment, personal training, group exercise classes and more. These offerings will complement Parrish Healthcare’s existing rehabilitation and laboratory services; all conveniently located within the same facility.
Ongoing renovations will introduce a revised layout of the existing center and feature an expanded open-concept workout area, renovated group exercise classrooms, a modernized community conference room and a planned reopening of the indoor pool in 2027.
“It is a privilege for the Y to join alongside Parrish Healthcare to create this exciting new opportunity for our community to grow healthier together,” said Kevin Bolding, President and CEO of the YMCA of Central Florida. “In conjunction with the nearby Titusville YMCA, our Brevard neighbors will now enjoy expanded access to the Y’s life-changing programs and services for all ages to keep our community strong and thriving.”
