TITUSVILLE, FLA. (October 8, 2025)—Parrish Healthcare is proud to announce their participation in this year’s Friends of the Port St. John Library’s Annual Scarecrow Contest, a new and festive community tradition that brings creativity, fun and togetherness to those in the Port St. John community.
The contest invites local organizations and businesses to design and display a unique scarecrow that showcases imagination and teamwork. Parrish Healthcare’s submission, a doctor-themed scarecrow named Dr. S. Crow—The Healing Harvester, was designed wearing scrubs, a physician lab coat, disposable hygienic shoe covers and stethoscope.
Parrish Healthcare is one of more than 15 local organizations to participate in the contest. Their scarecrow will be on display at Parrish Healthcare Center in Port St. John, located at 5005 Port St. John Parkway, throughout the Fall season. Parrish Healthcare invites the Port St. John community to visit, vote and support the organizations and businesses who participated. In the event Dr. S. Crow wins, Parrish Healthcare will donate the winnings to support its annual United Way of Brevard fundraising campaign.
For more information about the contest, or to preview all scarecrow submissions and vote for your favorite, community members are encouraged to stop by the Port St. John Library located at 6500 Carole Avenue in Cocoa, Florida or visit the Friends of the Port St. John Library’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FriendsofthePSJLibrary.
By taking part in this year’s contest, Parrish Healthcare continues to demonstrate its commitment to North Brevard—not only through exceptional healthcare services but also by engaging in activities that nurture community connection and spirit.
