
Parrish Healthcare is dedicated to the safety of our patients, visitors and Care Partners (employees, physicians and volunteers). Therefore, weapons of any kind are not permitted in any of our Parrish Healthcare facilities. In addition, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any act of violence.
All individuals entering Parrish Medical Center, through both our main hospital entrance and Emergency Department entrance, will be required to walk through a metal detector or be scanned with a handheld device. All bags (purses, backpacks, briefcases, etc.) are subject to inspection. Parrish Medical Center strictly prohibits the following items:

As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, clean and healthy environment for all patients, visitors and Parrish Healthcare Care Partners, we are proud to be a 100% tobacco-free campus.
This means tobacco use of any kind—including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco—is not permitted on any Parrish Healthcare property.
